What Questions Do You Have?
I got this idea from my friend Katie and thought this might be a good way to find out what interests you that we could blog about. Sometimes things get so "routine" here that we forget how strange we would have thought them from home. So leave your questions as comments below and we will get to them as soon as we can. From weather to food to housing to whatever you are wondering...we're game. God bless and we look forward to hearing from you.

Curious.... Besides family and friends for answers: What do you miss the most? What did you take for granted the most in the US? Even though you have awhile to go... what will be the first thing you want to do when you get back to the US? What food (besides Jif :)) do you miss most? Do you receive alot of our local news (Hamilton, church,school,Holland, etc)? Are you able / can you vote for US issues this November?

Do they have different fun Guatamalen (sp?) games there that your children are learning at school? When I went to Matamoras, Mexico on a mission trip the children taght us pato pato gonzo (duck duck goose). I'm not sure if that is really how you spell it, but that is what it sounded like to me. We also learned this game called tiny giant. One person is delegated the leader (usually an adult) and she yells out giant or tiny. When she yells out giant you crouch down real low and when she yells tiny you stand up real tall with your hands in the air (always do the opposite). It gets pretty hard when the leader starts going really fast. Once you mess up you are out until there is a winner! It's pretty fun. Are y'all learning new games there?
what is the first thing you will do when you get home? What will you miss the most about Guatemala? what are some things you didnt expect? What is the weather like, always rainy? eatin good? learning new recipies?
Are you doing the "K-bucks" system still. What about the games like "Smartest Person In All the World" or "Quiet Ball"???
